You know I’m pregnant, but most of these pieces are non-maternity, so keep on scrolling.Ā  Kohl’s does have a selection of maternity clothes for women if you’re looking.

9 Mix & Match Essentials for Spring

Basics are perfect when it comes to updating and creating more for your wardrobe. Grab your favorite jeans, because that’s my go-to in spring and start creating.

Here we have a pink basic tee, this is from the Oh Baby line, but the Apt. 9 (which you’ll see soon) has a fantastic line that just happen to be my favorite for basics. A tee is fantastic to be worn alone, but what better then to layer. I found this adorable Ebony Utility Vest from Mudd that’s going to steal the show this spring. I love it paired over pink. Find a favorite pair of sandals that you’ll feel comfortable wearing all season long. These braided brown sandals from Apt. 9 brand are comfortable and great from jeans to maxi’s.Kohls 1

Cardigans are some of the easiest pull on and go pieces if you want something other than a jacket. I absolutely adore the everyday cardigans from the Sonoma Brand, available in several colors and extremely soft and cozy. Perfect for casual to dressy – grab one in every color. I’m going to the oatmeal and as you’ll see a beautiful pink/coral for spring. kohls 6

Accessories pull those favorite basics and cardigans together. Here I’m wearing the white Apt. 9 basic tee (seriously, grab them in all colors for a comfortable fit all season) with the pink everyday cardigan. I’m pulling this look together with a gorgeous spring scarf from Kohl’s from the past and a pair of earrings from the Color collection. IMG_1363I’m new to the Color collection at Kohl’s, but I was able to snag some stud earrings that I’m mixing and matching with all these outfits (visit in-store to find them.) Kohls 4

Before we go onto another mix and match essential – take a gander at this lovely Oh Baby floral tee. Instead of going with solid color basics, trying adding some print. My favorite ways to wear prints are by adding jackets and cardigans…. kohls 5

Jackets just happen to be my absolute favorite and spring is all about light weight jackets that you can mix and match. I mentioned adding prints and here I’m going a bit more bold by mixing florals (which are super trendy this spring) with my favorite green camo. Layering a basic tee, cardigan and a green camo jacket creates a fun spring look & you can loose each piece for another look. Camo can be worn with just about anything, so don’t be afraid or shy to add this Green Camo Jacket from the Mudd Collection at Kohl’s to your wardrobe. kohls 2

All your basics will look fabulous paired underneath camo and take you from the cool spring mornings to the warm afternoons. Kohls 8

Lets keep the layering going – this time layering all the pieces we just talked about yet creating another look. Utility vests are yet again on point this season – whether you’re looking for the green or something new, check out what Kohl’s has.

There you have 9 mix and match essentials for spring that will give you more for less when updating and re-working your wardrobe. Basics, Jackets/Vests, Cardigans, Accessories and Shoes that you can mix with everything. I have many more outfit ideas up my sleeves with these 9 basic pieces so stay tuned for more!

Which pieces would you love to add to your wardrobe this spring from Kohl’s?
