Life is always an adventure over this way, and recently we had a week to enjoy the drive in the 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe.
We are currently shopping for an SUV that will work as a second family vehicle, as well as a dependable work vehicle for my husband. The Santa Fe was one on the list to check out, but unfortunately this seats only seven, so one seat short for our big family. HOWEVER, we really did enjoy just about everything in this LTD, ULT, AWD model. We had some highway and city driving and averaged right around 23 miles per gallon.
Though the Sante Fe wouldn’t work as a full family vehicle for us, I was able to drive it a lot with the kids. To the pool, sporting events, meetings, to run club early in the morning & then my husband enjoyed giving it sometime as an everyday work vehicle. The ride is smooth, and when you add all the bells and whistles, like this model had, you might just find yourself with a mile long list of driving adventures for the Sante Fe to take you on. The stylish interior of grey with black is sharp and sophisticated looking. With some wood detailing on the dash, making it feel very high end. The heated and air conditioned seats, climate control (even in the back– a huge hit,) and that panoramic sun roof, it gets me swooning every single time. As always, great back up cam, Sirius radio with great speakers throughout. Easy to add car seats into & good amount of leg room, even in the third row.
A big deal for many when shopping for an SUV, especially if the regularly use the third row is the amount of trunk space. Not a lot in the 2017 Sante Fe, as you can see above. We were able to fit a few groceries, pool bags, but no hockey gear and a lot of the baseball gear was smashed….. However….. There is the option of laying down the third row and even the second row, if need be, making for a lot of extra storage space!! The seats are very easy to move and recline as well, so if you do need space, this is an option.
Overall, I really enjoyed the 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe — the interior, exterior and all the options that are available on this particular model. You can locate your local Hyundai dealer to take one for a test drive. This particular model’s price tag is $44,295.00.
The Hyundai was loaned to us for one week to test drive and share our thoughts. All opinions are my own.
