During my last pregnancy I discovered Everly Grey Maternity, which quickly became one of my favorite online boutiques for quality maternity wear that made me feel like I was still wearing the trends of today. Everything fit great and I didn’t ever feel like I was wearing boxy clothing, just to fit over the baby bump. When I became pregnant this time around, I knew I wanted to share more of Everly Grey Maternity with my fashionable readers. Today, I’m sharing two trendy pieces and six maternity looks for spring featuring just those two pieces. Two pieces, six ways and you’ll feel trendy and gorgeous all spring and right into summer.
If you don’t have a striped top in your wardrobe, then I’d recommend investing in one. They’re super on trend right now and are a classic piece that can be mixed and matched within your wardrobe great. A great pattern to work with. Above, I’m wearing the Maggie Sand Stripe Sleeveless Top – adding a jacket for those cool spring days. As summer arrives, this maternity top looks great with jeans and your favorite sandals. I can’t wait to pair it with shorts, as I’m not due until late summer. Like I mentioned, stripes are a great mix & match pattern – I love it with a cute pair of trendy red pants and add a denim jacket for layering. I’m doing a little pattern mixing by adding leopard flats with the stripes.
See how easily this Maggie Sand Stripe top can be transformed into many different outfits. I could have easily made six maternity looks for spring just out of this top – keep an eye on my weekly Real Mom Style posts and Instagram for just that. I was so bummed when not only my belly but my chest out grew all my plaid tops – I love plaid and they’re great for layering or wearing along. The black and white Batina Shirt is perfect for the growing belly. It can be layered, worn alone and give you that pre-pregnant fashion feel. Here I’m wearing it buttoned up along with a red accent. Wear the Batina Shirt open with a top underneath. It’s still wicked cold here lately so I love it with a long sleeved underneath with the sleeves rolled (they have tabs to hold them up) but a tee or tank would be fantastic underneath as well. I’m dressing it up jut a bit here with a dark wash maternity jean, pointed toe flats and a chunky statement necklace. For a more casual look, pair the Batina with your favorite utility vest and leopard sneakers. Another adorable shirt that will be cute with white and your favorite shorts all summer long.
There you have six maternity looks for spring with just two items – use existing pieces without your wardrobe to re-create new outfits everyday when you’re pregnant. Visit Everly Grey Maternity for so much more cute maternity items – from your basics, dresses, nursing wear and so much more. Stay tuned for more on the Everly Grey dresses and how dresses can be worn more than one way as well.
