Spending the Day at Santa’s Village Azoosment Park

This is a sponsored post, we received complimentary tickets to check out Santa’s Village. All opinions are my own. Last week I had the opportunity to take my family & some friends to Santa’s Village Azoosment Park in East Dundee, Illlinois. It had been quite a few years since we ventured that way & to say my kids were excited, would be an understatement. If you’re looking for a fun filled day, with rides, entertainment, food, animals, with low wait time for rides, and won’t require you to walk for miles, then Santa’s Village Azoosment Park is the place to go.

We took children ranging in age 4-12 and all had a fantastic time. Santa’s Village had rides for your little ones, like the slow moving cars, trains, the carousel and other rides similar. Then you venture a little ways back and you’ll find the drop & roller coasters geared for children a bit older. They also had rides to keep the entire family entertained, like the fire ride, where kids get to put out the fire, the old fashion cars that you actually get to steer, bumper cars, and tea cups.

The rides kept all the children entertained for hours & the line wait was incredibly low, perhaps waiting ten minutes at the most for one ride — do note, we went on a Tuesday.

When we needed a little break from the rides, you can find other entertainment, where you can sit back and rest for a bit. Check out one of two magic shows, or an animal show.

Get out of the heat while you enjoy delicious ice cream in an air conditioned building, but that’s not the only food available. Santa’s Village has beer and grilled food for adults, yummy carnival type treats & so much more.  If you plan to spend the day, take advantage of the food areas, but Santa’s Village allows you to bring in coolers, or leave and re-enter with your arm band still on, so you can pack lunches if that’s something your family enjoys.

Everyone also enjoyed Old Macdonald’s Farm, where the kids got to ride ponies and pet/feed lots of different barnyard animals. Throughout the entire park are little areas with animals – such as the camels, birds, turtles and many other exotic animals, which makes for more entertainment than just rides for entertainment.

If you follow along on my social media channels, especially Instagram you saw a lot of the day on my Instastories.

I was especially happy when I located a mother’s room, where I was able to nurse and change my little lady. The room had two couches, a changing table and you were able to shut the door and just have some down time – exactly what my ten month old needed for a short period of time.

If you have a family with a range of ages and are looking for an easy, fun filled day, I’d definitely recommend Santa’s Village Azoosment Park. It was an easy drive for us, about a 1.5 hours and worth visiting. You’ll also find fair type games and the option of renting rooms for parties & special birthday announcements. Whether you’re wanting to visit as a family, or head to the park with your moms group, we give it two thumbs up.

Let me know if you have any questions about our visit to Santa’s Village Azoosment Park.
