Spring Apparel for the Breastfeeding Mother

Are you currently a breastfeeding mother? I’m currently breastfeeding my fifth baby and breastfeeding apparel has really saved my sanity when I have special occasions to attend with a little one or just want to be able to breastfeeding discreetly and comfortably on a day to day basis.  I would also recommend if you’re planning to have a couple of children and plan/hope to breastfeed them, then investing in some high quality pieces is definitely worth it. With it being spring I’m sharing some spring apparel for the breastfeeding mother from Mayarya, they have some of my favorites breastfeeding dresses, so be sure to check them out.

Over the Easter holiday I wanted to be able to wear dresses during the Triduum, but that wasn’t going to happen unless they were made for the breastfeeding mother. One of the days I chose this Everyday Maternity + Nursing Dress in a beautiful spring color. It’s perfect as a maternity dress & with the side openings (that you can’t even see) it’s easy to breastfeed in whenever you need. I dressed it up a bit here with a white jacket from Aventura Clothing and wedges, but it’s adorable for everyday with sandals if you love dresses for daily. For everyday I’m more of a jeans kinda girl & with my love for stripes I simply adore this Striped Top from Mayarya. It’s considered a maternity/nursing top, but if you’re going for maternity I’d size up because it’s not very long. There are so many ways to wear a striped top, it’s like the perfect classic/basic top that you can dress up down and mix and match easily with other patterns. This specific top is two layers with a cute chest side pocket. You just lift the top layer to expose a light under layer with slits where your breasts sit, so you have easy access and are able to keep your little happy whenever it’s time to play the breastfeeding mother role.

Outfit details: Blue Flats (similar) | Black Distressed Jeans | Striped Top (see above) | Denim Jacket | Necklace Popsugar Must Have Box |
