Samples were provided, all opinions are my own. Alright, so a couple of weeks ago I would have wanted to shun you if you mentioned jeans and blazers, but over the last week or so and then again last night I’m really getting excited for fall apparel. Jackets are like my obsession so you’ll be finding me in them a lot. Today I want to share with you fall fashion from Lands’ End, a well known company for their quality apparel. Something I’ve been talking to people a lot is finding the right fit and shopping for you. I love thumbing the magazines, but knowing what works for you & owning it on yourself without comparing to what you saw.Lets talk about a striped top – it’s really a great item to have in your wardrobe because it’s incredibly versatile and can be worn in so many ways. I love it on the model but love it on my shorter not as slim torso as well. Basic for everyday or add a statement necklace to dress it up on you. Lands’ End also has a long-sleeved striped top, if you’re wanting to update with more fall/winter friendly pieces. Sometimes I just have to copy what I see on the models & I LOVE the stripes with this red Ponte Jacket, roll the sleeves just a bit and I’m set! Also available in a navy, but the red makes a statement. I was amazed at just how comfortable it was – moving with me instead of being rigid and non-flexible. I also know it’s going to last, because it’s a quality made piece that will last in my closet and not go out of style.
I’m also wearing the Women’s Mid Rise Trouser Jeans – I’ve decided to embrace the fact that skinny jeans aren’t the “major trend” this season and start adding the wider legged jeans into my wardrobe. What I really like about these is that you can choose your waist x length, something last year I really appreciated Lands’ End doing for women. I’m short, but I was still able to find a trouser that fit my height just perfectly.
