Thanksgiving is a week away, but if you’re in our family we celebrate over the course of the week. His family, my family & a birthday boy on the actual day. We never get to fancy around here, I mostly look for a little more dressy then everyday run around with the kids, but still something I can enjoy my real mashed potatoes and gravy and the assortment of deserts without having to let the top button out on my pants. Haha! My idea of what to wear on Thanksgiving is…. Black on black, because you know.. black is so slimming! I love a great pair high waisted skinny jeans in black with a flowy black top. Looks like you’re put together yet it’s incredibly easy and a no brainer. Add your favorite statement necklace to give it a little glam… after all it is Thanksgiving and we’re celebrating with family and friends! Comfortable boots or shoes are a must and since we aren’t at home, I can’t hardly wear my slippers. I want to go with a black and brown look, so I chose my knee high black boots & then added a favorite faux leather jacket with added detailing on the sleeves for a fun edgy look. A super easy, no fuss, look put together and a little bit dressier than everyday with the kids look! Black, brown and a statement necklace for class. This is what to wear for Thanksgiving!
