What a Friday for sharing my Sunday outfit. Hah! Typically I stick to dresses, skirts or some sort of a pant when I attend Sunday Mass, but we went to Mass last minute on Saturday night and I ended up keeping on what I had on for the day, so jeans it was. It was back to being cold, so I wanted to layer up. I went with these AG Ankle jeans, that I really like. They’re a little bit more pricey then other jeans I buy, but I know why. They keep their shape & once I get back to pre-pregnancy weight they’re on my list to buy. With them being ankle jeans I went with a more thick sock so when I sat I wasn’t showing skin with my favorite fringe madewell ankle boots.
For my top I’m wearing this really fun whimsical like deer top from Ruffled Rain. To pull it together and stay warm I went with this poncho from Milk & Baby. Typically I’ve been steering away from these type of poncho’s while carrying a baby around, but this one actually has slits in the sides so it doesn’t fall off & it’s incredibly soft. I really love the pattern also, a bit more fallish but great for women of all ages, seasons and stages. Easy for maternity, breastfeeding and then just everyday. Better yet, if you’re looking to purchase, it’s currently on sale for $29.99.
I didn’t wear this outfit to Church, but I would have. Instead I wore it to a MOMs group I’ve been playing hit and miss at on Sunday afternoon’s.These white moto leggings are from Ruffled Rain & they fit great. I love the moto vibe and zipper sides. They have an elastic side and no pockets on the butt, so you do need a longer tunic top or cardigan to cover your bootie, but they’re great if you want white pants & don’t want white jeans or restriction.
The possibilities are really endless when you’re thinking white jeans/pants/leggings, but today I went with this long tunic sweatshirt striped top and a pair of yellow flats. Nothing fancy as I was fussing with a teething baby, but it was comfortable and I like how it turned out.
So, what do you typically wear to church? Do you go with whatever sounds good, or do you typically dress up a bit more?
Ellen is looking gorgeous over at That Chic Mom, so stop by and see how she looks for church.
