I hope you had a great Mother’s Day, mine was spent at the hockey courts… as it usually is, but we did head to Mass in the morning and spent family time together when we could. Yesterday I wrote up a post about What is Motherhood if you’re interested in checking it out. With that said, today I’m sharing my Real Mom Style and how to wear a blazer while pregnant. 26 weeks pregnant and getting bigger continues to be a challenge, but I’m doing my best to find old pieces that I can mix and match to create outfits I feel comfortable in and look put together for whatever the day is throwing at me.
How to Wear a Blazer While Pregnant
I adore a blazer because it can be worn for everyday casual, dressing up and great for the working women that needs to be dressy casual every single day. So really, this post isn’t so much how to wear a blazer while pregnant, but rock the blazer ladies. It’s classy and sophisticated whether you’re pregnant or not. I added a dressier pink maternity tee I’ve had for several years and then added the blazer to make it a bit more dressy. I adore grey and pink together, and even though the blazer is a bit small it still creates a dressy classy look. I typically do not wear jeans to Mass on Sunday’s but it was so cool that morning and I’ve run out of dressy pants and a dress just wasn’t going to work for me. I grabbed my dark denim maternity jeans and by adding the wedges and blazer with a fun Lia Sophia necklace I’ve had for years I felt just as dressed up as I do in my favorite dresses. Would you consider wearing a blazer with your favorite outfit? This is actually a sweatshirt blazer so it’s extremely comfortable and non-structured so you can move as comfortably as you would in your favorite sweatshirt, but look adorable doing so. There you have how to style a blazer while pregnant. You may have saw me post this yesterday over on my Instagram account –
If you love the blazer look my friend Ellen of That Chic Mom posted yesterday the most fabulous green blazer, I’d love to add that to my collection. I also wore a striped blazer a couple of weeks ago that was a hit on Instagram and if you’re looking for more non-maternity blazer looks I’ve posted several before.
Today I thought I’d link in with My Sunday Best for the first time
